Housing Support Officer Bradford 35 hours per week Permanent £23,500 per annum Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a charity that is looking for a Housing Support Officer to work with males fleeing domestic violence. Responsibilities of the Housing Support Officer includes: • Providing housing and tenancy related support to males fleeing domestic violenc, • Identifying their needs and agreeing a programme of support via floating support, telephone support or housing related support., • Ensuring that the telephone helpline is staffed, • Referring men into the crash pad accommodation and to ensure that they get a high level of support in order for them to move on into more appropriate accommodation., • Supporting men living wirhin dispersed units of longer term accommodation, • Managing referrals and conducting needs and risk assessments, • Conducting health and safety checks, • Completing inductions, • Ensuring clients adhere to their tenancy agreements, • Fostering joint working with other agencies and services to provide holistic support, • Enhanced DBS or willingess to undergo one, • Experience with vulnerable clients within a housing support capacity, • UK driving license and access to own vehicle
