Wholesale Sales Manager (Scotland and North of England) Location: Scotland and North England region Contract type: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week Salary: Competitive salary + Bonus and Car Allowance Join the Shoal at Weird Fish! We are seeking a talented Wholesale Sales Manager to look after our customer base in Scotland and North England region. This role requires a commercially driven self-starter who can hit the ground running. You will champion the brand, embody its values, and build strong, sustainable relationships with existing and new retail partners. You’ll be accountable for delivering on pre-order and in-season sales targets, maximising opportunities within your territory, and ensuring the brand is represented consistently across all touchpoints. Your key areas of focus: Sales & Territory Growth • Deliver and exceed seasonal pre-order targets and in-season sales forecasts., • Actively manage and grow the territory, identifying opportunities for increased sell-in and sell-through., • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing wholesale partners., • Conduct regular store visits to review performance, present new collections, support merchandising needs, and identify growth opportunities., • Provide product knowledge training and brand education to retail partners., • Deeply understand the brand DNA, product ranges, customer profile, and core values, consistently champion them in all external interactions., • Attend domestic and international trade shows, sales meetings, and seasonal showrooms as required., • Work closely with internal teams including Buying and Design, Marketing, Merchandising, and Customer Service., • Provide feedback on competitor performance, customer behaviour, and regional insights to support wider business decisions. What our Shoal needs: • Proven wholesale experience within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods., • Existing relationships or familiarity with independent retailers across Scotland and the North of England is highly desirable., • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets., • Confident presenter with excellent communication and negotiation skills., • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working autonomously., • Ability to travel extensively across the territory and to HQ (Gloucestershire) as needed., • Full UK driving licence.
