Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the chefs in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about culinary arts and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced chefs while contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings. Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and standards., • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen., • Help with the organisation and cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained., • Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients., • Participate in daily mise en place to ensure all necessary ingredients are ready for service., • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods., • Follow instructions from senior chefs and demonstrate a willingness to learn new techniques and skills. Requirements • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling., • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting., • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude., • A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere., • Basic culinary skills, including knife skills and food preparation techniques, are beneficial., • A commitment to personal development within the hospitality industry, with aspirations for leadership roles in the future.     CHEF DE PARTIE – CATERING South West London £36,500 per year + Paid Overtime + Excellent Benefits Full-Time | 45 hours per week We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a well-established, high-quality catering operation in South West London. This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for a stable, professional environment with excellent benefits, ongoing development and a strong work-life structure.
