MCL Property Adjuster Midlands & South Up to £75,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits Package An excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Adjuster to join a growing and well-established adjusting business, handling a portfolio of mid to complex losses across the Midlands and South. This role offers a high level of autonomy, a varied caseload, and the chance to deal with more technical and higher-value claims. The Role: • Manage a caseload of Mid & Complex Loss (MCL) property claims from first notification through to settlement, • Conduct site visits to assess damage, determine cause, and validate claims, • Handle a mix of domestic and commercial property losses, including higher value and more technical claims, • Interpret and apply policy wordings, terms, and conditions to ensure accurate coverage decisions, • Produce detailed reports (including ABI reports) within agreed service level agreements, • Liaise with insurers, policyholders, brokers, contractors, and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently, • Appoint and manage specialists (surveyors, engineers, contractors) where required, • Provide clear technical guidance and maintain strong communication throughout the claim lifecycle, • Proactively manage your diary and caseload, ensuring timely progression and resolution of claims, • Attend re-visits and maintain accurate file notes and documentationAbout You:, • Proven experience in property loss adjusting or strong background in property claims handling, • Experience dealing with mid to complex losses is highly desirable, • Knowledge of both domestic and commercial property insurance policies, • Ideally qualified (or working towards) Cert CILA / CII or equivalent, • Strong investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills, • Confident communicator with the ability to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders, • Highly organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage a remote, field-based role, • Full UK driving licence requiredWhats on Offer:, • Salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience), • Car allowance or company car scheme, • Discretionary bonus, • 25 days holiday increasing with service + birthday off, • Private healthcare, • Contributory pension scheme, • Life assurance / death in service, • Enhanced family leave and sick pay, • Electric vehicle scheme (post-probation), • Ongoing career development and progression opportunitiesIf you're looking to step into or continue developing within the MCL space, with the autonomy to manage complex claims and the backing of a supportive and growing business, this role offers a strong next move.
