The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives ensuring that all operational targets are met and maintaining high standards of safety accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations excellent leadership skills and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the team. Key Responsibilities: Experience in delivering and implementing small projects. • Operational Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving storage order picking packing and dispatching of goods., • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess team performance against targets and KPIs providing feedback and addressing any performance issues. Ability to on occasion (Holiday cover only so around 2530 days across the year to be supplemented when worked) cover the 2pm10pm shift; this will be in 2026 as this year has been covered. Team working and the building of strong relationship building is a must across all levels of the business. • Health and Safety: Maintain a strong focus on health and safety ensuring all team members comply with company policies and legal regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments., • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency reduce waste and optimize warehouse operations., • Resource Planning: Assist in planning and allocating resources effectively including managing staff rotas shift patterns and workload distribution., • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training guidance and support to team members ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively., • Quality Control: Ensure all orders are processed accurately and meet customer expectations in terms of quality and delivery times., • Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the warehouse team and other departments ensuring clear communication and collaboration across the business., • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational issues working closely with the Warehouse Manager and other stakeholders to find solutions., • Proven experience in a similar warehouse team leader or supervisory role., • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management order processing and logistics., • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively., • Good understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment., • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines., • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet., • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels., • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications., • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred but relevant experience in warehouse management will be considered., • Competitive salary, • Pension scheme, • Health and wellness benefits, • Opportunities for career progression Key Skills Agency,Front End,Accounting And Auditing,Access,Administration Support,Jboss Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
