Support Worker\n\nLocation: Coventry\n Pay: £12.71 per hour \nA well?established homelessness support service based in Coventry is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join its frontline drop?in team. \nThe service supports people who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness, providing immediate practical support and access to longer?term accommodation and specialist services.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nYou will work within a busy, multi?agency drop?in environment, delivering day?to?day support to vulnerable adults. This is a varied, hands?on, and people?focused role, supporting individuals with complex needs to access safety, stability, and longer?term support.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide a welcoming, non?judgemental drop?in service\nOffer hot drinks, food, and clothing to people who are rough sleeping\nSupport individuals with housing advice and referrals to supported accommodation\nWork closely with partner agencies including mental health, substance misuse, outreach, and policing services\nAssist with benefits, form filling, and access to IT\nMaintain clear and accurate records\nFollow safeguarding, health & safety, and professional boundaries at all times\n\nWorking Hours\n\nThe service operates 7 days a week, and shifts vary depending on service needs:\n\n7:00am - 7:00pm\n9:00am - 4:00pm (weekdays)\n7:00am - 4:00pm (Saturdays)\n10:00am - 7:00pm (Saturdays & Sundays)\nFlexibility to work weekends is essential.\n\nAbout You\n\nExperience working with homelessness, housing, or vulnerable adults is desirable\nAble to work calmly and confidently in a fast?paced environment\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nEmpathetic, resilient, and solution?focused\nComfortable supporting people facing complex challenges, including mental ill?health or substance misuse\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive hourly pay of £12.71\nMeaningful work making a genuine difference in people's lives\nSupportive team environment\nOpportunity to work alongside multiple specialist agencies\nIf you are passionate about supporting people at crisis points and helping them move towards stability and independence, we would love to hear from you
