    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to manage staff providing person-centered care, ensuring support plans promote independence, dignity, and safety. Responsibilities include overseeing care delivery, compliance with CQC standards, staff supervision, risk management, and fostering active community engagement. Due to the personal care requirements of the service users, we are currently recruiting female care staff only. Please note that we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Key Responsibilities & Duties • Staff Leadership: Mentoring, supervising, and developing support staff, including managing performance and training. • Person-Centred Care: Ensuring support plans are implemented to maximize independence, dignity, and quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities. • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitoring services to ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and legislation. • Operational Management: Coordinating daily routines, conducting risk assessments, and managing safeguarding issues. • Reporting & Communication: Reporting to service managers, attending meetings, and communicating with external stakeholders and families. • On-call Duties: Participating in out-of-hours on-call rotations to support the team. National Care Group +4 • Working on shifts as part of the care team and completed admin duties Key Skills & Requirements • Experience: Previous experience as a team leader in a LD/Autistic environment • Knowledge: Understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and person-centred care principles.• Leadership: Strong communication, decision-making, and motivation skills. • Qualifications: Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or higher) or working towards one This post is restricted to female applicants only as a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. About You: We are looking for a proactive individual with some hands-on experience, eager to learn and grow within the motor trade. • Some hands-on mechanical or vehicle maintenance experience (e.g., workshop, fast-fit, or similar setting)., • A good understanding of basic vehicle systems., • Familiarity with common tools and workshop equipment., • A strong work ethic and a reliable, committed approach., • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic, busy environment., • Keen enthusiasm for learning and career progression., • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality in your work., • Previous experience in a garage or fast-fit environment., • A relevant college qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Vehicle Maintenance)., • A full UK driving licence. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the child's wellbeing, independence, and confidence through personalised care and support plans. Duties Assist children with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and behavioural support. Implement individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs, ensuring consistency and progress tracking. Support children during educational activities both within the centre and in community settings. Facilitate communication using appropriate methods, including IT tools where necessary. Drive children to appointments, activities, or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of progress, behaviour, and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies. Collaborate closely with families, educators, and other professionals to deliver holistic support. Promote a positive environment that encourages learning, socialisation, and emotional development. Qualifications Experience working with children, particularly those with learning disabilities or special educational needs. Preferably a valid driving licence and willingness to drive children as part of the role. Knowledge of childcare practices and understanding of child development principles. Ability to develop and follow care plans effectively. Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, and team members clearly and empathetically. Proficiency in IT to record data accurately and utilise relevant digital tools for communication or activity planning.
