About the role LMP Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Marketing Executive to join our dynamic in-house marketing team. As our Social Media Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our social media strategy across key platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. You will be responsible for planning, creating and publishing engaging content that drives brand awareness, builds online communities and generates leads - particularly within the B2B space. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in LinkedIn marketing, especially in B2B contexts, and a strong understanding of the education and training sector, including apprenticeships and government-funded training programmes. You will have knowledge and skills in social advertising on LinkedIn, Meta and other channels, responsible for implementing key campaigns targeting schools and multi-academy trusts. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust social media and digital marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute a social media content strategy aligned with our marketing and business goals., • Strategically align content planning and social media campaigns with wider marketing initiatives, including PPC, paid media, email marketing and sales objectives., • Develop and maintain a comprehensive weekly/monthly social media plan for all four core accounts across the LMP Group., • Create, schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok., • Lead the creation of B2B-focused campaigns on LinkedIn to engage employers, partners and stakeholders., • Create original, high-quality content including static graphics, video, animated content and motion design tailored to each campaign., • Design all visual content from scratch, ensuring brand consistency and high visual standards across all assets., • Produce high-quality, platform-appropriate content including graphics, videos, reels, carousels, and thought leadership posts., • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. programme leads, trainers, apprentices) to source stories, testimonials, and updates., • Monitor, report, and analyse performance metrics and KPIs to optimise content and strategy., • Stay current on trends in social media, digital marketing, and the training/education sector., • Engage proactively with audiences to grow communities and enhance brand interaction., • Deliver paid social campaigns with ad copy, targeting strategies and reporting., • Support with email marketing and other digital team projects as required., • Attend events and conferences to support with social media content. About you • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn in a B2B marketing context. (Essential), • Experience in or strong understanding of the education, training, or apprenticeships sector. (Essential), • Ability to create content that resonates with diverse audiences including employers, learners, and industry professionals. (Essential), • Proficiency with content creation tools and scheduling software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Planable, HubSpot etc.). (Essential), • Strong writing, storytelling and visual communication skills. (Essential), • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly. (Essential), • Experience in video and short-form content creation (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels). (Desirable), • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
