Sales Manager – Electrical Cabling & Infrastructure (Specification & Major Projects) Location: South of England / M25 Corridor (Home-Based) Package: Up to £80,000 Basic + 20% Bonus Benefits: Company car (choice) or car allowance, 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, pension The Opportunity We are a well-established electrical distributor seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive specification-led project growth across the South of England, with a key focus on the M25 corridor. This is a strategic, project-focused role responsible for securing specification of electrical cabling and infrastructure products across major construction and engineering projects. You will work closely with M&E contractors, consulting engineers, and project stakeholders to influence product selection at the design stage and support projects through to installation and completion. The role will involve promoting a portfolio of high-quality electrical infrastructure solutions, including: • LV and specialist power cables, • Fire performance and fire-resistant cables, • Data centre and critical infrastructure cabling, • Cable management and containment systems ou will work across major sectors such as commercial developments, industrial facilities, data centres, and large-scale infrastructure projects, managing projects from concept and specification through to delivery. Supported by internal technical and project teams, you will represent a trusted electrical supply partner known for delivering reliable infrastructure solutions on complex projects. This is a home-based role offering autonomy, territory ownership, and strong earning potential. Key Responsibilities • Manage and develop key relationships with M&E contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders, • Identify and secure new project opportunities across the South and M25 corridor, • Influence consultants and design teams to secure product specification, • Promote a portfolio of electrical cabling, containment, and infrastructure products, • Manage projects from design stage through to supply and project completion, • Deliver technical presentations, CPD sessions, and client meetings, • Conduct site visits and project reviews throughout the construction lifecycle, • Work closely with internal technical, project, and customer support teams, • Maintain a strong project pipeline and convert specifications into secured business, • Achieve and exceed agreed sales and margin targets About You You will be a commercially driven specification sales professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record in project-based electrical sales. You will bring: • Experience working for an electrical manufacturer or distributor, • Strong knowledge of electrical cabling, containment, or infrastructure products, • Proven experience in specification sales with consultants and M&E contractors, • Established relationships across the South / M25 construction and engineering market, • A track record of winning and managing high-value project business, • Experience working across sectors such as commercial, industrial, data centres, nuclear, or large construction projects, • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, • The ability to manage a home-based territory with autonomy What’s on Offer • Up to £80,000 basic salary, • Performance-related bonus (20%), • Company car (choice) or car allowance, • 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays, • Pension scheme, • Home-based flexibility with full ownership of your territory, • The opportunity to work with a well-established and growing electrical distribution business with strong major-project capability
