Junior HR Business Partner (Employee Relations Focus) Are you passionate about building strong people relationships, supporting managers, and helping shape a positive workplace culture? We’re looking for a HR Business Partner with a strong interest in Employee Relations to join our clients growing team. As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting line managers and employees across a variety of HR activities, with a particular focus on employee relations. You’ll work closely with senior HRBPs to provide practical, solution-focused advice and ensure the consistent and fair application of our people policies and practices. You’ll act as a trusted advisor on day-to-day ER matters — from absence and performance management to grievances and disciplinary cases, helping managers build confidence in managing their teams effectively. Key Responsibilities • Provide first-line advice and guidance on employee relations issues including absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance cases., • Support investigations, note-taking, and documentation for ER cases, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies., • Partner with managers to promote proactive people management and early resolution of workplace issues., • Support HR projects and initiatives such as engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion programmes., • Analyse ER trends and provide insights to the HR team to identify areas for improvement., • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures., • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver the annual people plan and business objectives. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, approachable, and eager to learn. You’ll bring sound HR knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating a positive employee experience. Essential skills and experience: • 1–3 years’ experience in an HR role (e.g. HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or Junior HRBP)., • Practical knowledge of UK employment law and core HR processes., • Experience supporting ER cases or providing advice on employee issues., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills., • Strong attention to detail with good organisational and administrative ability., • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) preferred.
