The AI Factory is a central delivery unit at Allianz Technology that builds and deploys AI-powered solutions across the Allianz Group. It runs four pillars, Personal Productivity, AI-Native Ways of Working, Application Rebuild & Modernization, and AI Use Case Delivery, on top of a shared AI platform ecosystem that provides the runtime, governance, observability, and reusable building blocks every solution runs on. The AI Use Case Delivery team is the AI Factory's delivery engine for agentic and AI-native solutions across Allianz Operating Entities. It accelerates high-return AI initiatives through dedicated squads, a defined lifecycle from Idea to Handover, and a growing library of reusable AI building blocks that turn one OE's solution into the next OE's head start. The AI Engagement Manager is the AI delivery interface between the AI Factory and the Operating Entities (OEs). The role turns OE and group pain points into deliverable, funded AI projects and steers several engagements in parallel. Where the Forward Deployed Engineer is the technical core of the squad, the Engagement Manager shapes the engagement and steers it to production: scoping the use case, shaping and executing demand, steering delivery, and owning the OE relationship beyond go-live. It works on the Allianz Technology side while staying close to the OE, and involves the Head of IT or the respective global vertical from day one. • Form a half-pizza squad with the Forward Deployed Engineers per OE engagement, together with the local IT or global vertical people who know the core systems., • Shape and execute OE demand: make AI Factory capability visible early, match reusable building blocks (MVS) against the OE's actual pain points, and turn this into a funded engagement before the OE reaches outside., • Steer multiple engagements in parallel across the full lifecycle, transferring patterns, framings, and lessons between them so the next engagement starts smarter than the last., • Cut scope where it does not earn its place, validate assumptions fast, and correct course as the work unfolds., • Own the build-to-run handover to the global service or local IT team, with the run team involved during delivery so the handover is real., • Own the OE relationship after go-live and prepare structured communications and decision papers for senior stakeholders up to CTO and Board level., • A degree in business, management, technology, or a related field, with experience steering delivery or programmes in a larger organization; knowledge of Allianz Group and Allianz Technology is a plus., • Senior enough for OE leadership and Head of IT conversations, technical enough to follow the build and cut scope honestly., • Strong stakeholder, business-framing, and roadmap-shaping skills, with the ability to prepare clear decision materials for executive audiences., • Experience translating business problems into delivered software, ideally in insurance or another regulated environment., • An entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable taking ownership and driving topics forward in a build-up environment without waiting for perfect structure., • Fluent in English, • Basic to solid knowledge of AI technologies, agentic principles, and their practical use., • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad., • We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)., • From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered., • Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can. Design Director Orangery® — Guildford, Surrey Full-time · Hybrid · £62,000–£68,000 ---- We're a six-person B-Corp studio in Guildford looking for a Design Director. A senior, hands-on creative who can take an idea, elevate it, and drive it through to work we're all proud to put our name on. Around half your time will be spent on a global sports brand moving into brand-first, social-first campaign work — brand guidelines, campaign toolkits, and regional and global rollouts. The other half is varied: rebrands, strategic design projects and campaigns for clients across technology and B2B. You'll work closely with our Executive Creative Director, and you'll direct our freelance bench of 2D, 3D, animation, film and photography specialists, setting the standard and holding the line on quality. There's real scope to get out on shoots, directing photography and video. We're genuinely collaborative — ideas come from everywhere here, and the best one wins regardless of who had it. Leadership is earned, and it's there to take. Everyone here is senior enough to manage their own work and their own diary, and is trusted to get on with it. No unnecessary layers, no agency politics. We're also early in our AI journey, building it into how we brief, research and produce. If that interests you, it's a good moment to join. The role • Leading creative direction across brand and campaign work, • Developing campaign ideas that work across multiple channels — social-first content through to print and environmental, • Building and evolving brand identities, visual systems, guidelines and campaign toolkits for regional and global rollout, • Directing our freelance bench, including film, video and photography direction and editing, • Quality-checking work to both creative and technical standards before it leaves the studio, • Presenting and defending work directly to clients, • Bringing creative thinking into pitches and new business alongside the ECD What we're looking for • Around 8+ years in an agency or studio, with time at senior, lead or director level, • A portfolio strong on both concept and craft, showing brand and campaign work — and evidence of consistency across volume, not only one-off showpieces, • Strong conceptual thinking: you generate original ideas rather than jumping straight to execution, and you can turn a complex brief into a clear creative narrative, • Brand strategy awareness — positioning, audiences, and connecting business objectives to creative solutions, • Fluency in social-first, platform-native campaign creative, • An exceptional eye for detail and strong typographic craft, • Confident with print artwork and production, • Experience briefing and directing freelancers — photographers, filmmakers, animators and other specialists, • Experience with high-profile brands and/or complex campaign rollouts, • Figma as your day-to-day, alongside advanced Adobe CS. Motion skills an advantage A word on sport A meaningful part of this role is racket sports — tennis in particular. We're not just looking for a fan. We're looking for someone who can get properly under the skin of a subculture and make work that people inside it recognise as true. If that's tennis for you, brilliant. If you've done it with running, football, climbing, skate or music, we're just as interested. What we offer £62,000–£68,000 depending on experience, plus: • Hybrid working — ideally 3 days a week in the Guildford studio, 2 remote, • 9–5. No evenings, no weekend heroics, • Genuine autonomy — you manage your own diary, • Exposure to a major global sports brand, alongside work in technology and B2B, • Structured personal development and training, • Pension scheme and salary sacrifice EV scheme, • Birthday day off and volunteer days, • Carbon reduction commitments and regular team culture days, • As a B-Corp studio, we look for people who share our commitment to responsible, thoughtful ways of working. Apply We value thoughtful, genuine applications that reflect your own experience and perspective. This helps us understand how you think and approach your work, which is more important to us than polished or generic responses. Please send your CV and a link to your portfolio to careers@orangerycreative.com We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, and we believe this makes our work and our business stronger.

There's also plenty of scope to take ownership. If you're someone who wants to build relationships with clients, develop technically and eventually progress into a more senior leadership position, this role gives you the platform to do it. The role is based in Guildford with hybrid working available.
