Responsible for the identification, development, and successful closure of new business opportunities within designated sales region and existing customers. Main Duties • Identify, create, campaign and close new sales opportunities within designated sales region and existing customers. These sales will focus on Qolcom’s core capabilities: Digital Workplace, Intelligent Infrastructure & Security, • Provide commercial ownership across all stages of opportunities • Maintain Qolcom’s interaction with the customer by fostering multi-level relationships with key Stakeholders, • Provide leadership of virtual teams engaged on opportunities, • Engage with key vendors and Qolcom’s partner management teams to drive sales growth into designated sales region and existing customers, • Perform regular analysis of key competitors within designated sales region and existing customers to assist in the sales process, • Perform structured account targeting and planning, undertaking campaign and opportunity planning to maximise sales effectiveness, • To work collaboratively with technical and services teams in defining propositions for specific clients’ needs, • To manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start and commercial close Skills, Experience, Knowledge • 5+ years Enterprise sales experience, • Driven, enthusiastic and uses initiative, • Competent in planning and owning multiple sales campaigns, • Proven experience in winning complex infrastructure and services sales, • Ability to engage up to, and including C-level executives, • Strong presentation skills, • Strong negotiation skills, • Proven ability to effectively manage and maintain long-term customer relationships, • Extensive and proven sales experience and track record gained within the IT industry, • Proven experience of selling IT Managed Services / solutions and/or Enterprise class solutions, • Good business acumen and commercial awareness, • Experience gained working for a recognised IT reseller, IT Services Provider and/or vendor/manufacturer, • Proven record of successful negotiation at senior level, • Persuasive, motivated and tenacious

About the role As a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will design and articulate end‑to‑end, customer‑centric solutions during the pre‑sales and bid lifecycle, translating business and technical requirements into compelling, deliverable and commercially viable offerings. Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead the end‑to‑end solution definition for large, complex, multi‑tower, • Engage directly with customers, including CxO‑level stakeholders, to understand business objectives, requirements and strategic drivers., • Develop differentiated value propositions demonstrating how VOIS solutions meet customer needs and outcomes., • Create integrated, multi‑tower technical and service solutions, collaborating with domain and technology solution architects., • Define platform and integration architectures in collaboration with technology architects., • Own the solution throughout the bid lifecycle, acting as the single solution owner., • Define end‑to‑end delivery, staffing and resourcing models, aligned with service tower delivery owners., • Drive make/buy and partner decisions to optimise delivery, cost, risk and capability., • Produce consolidated effort, location and cost estimates, feeding pricing and commercial models., • Quantify delivery certainty, risks and assumptions to support sound commercial and bid decisions., • Support contract negotiations to ensure solution scope, dependencies and assumptions are clearly documented to protect margins., • Ensure a smooth handover from sales to delivery, transferring full solution context and documentation Other stuff we’re potentially looking for: • 10+ years experience in a pre‑sales Solution Architect role within a large professional services or managed services organisation., • 15+ years experience in one or more service domains: Technology, Customer Care, Business Services, HR, Supply Chain or Finance., • Proven expertise in complex effort estimation, staffing pyramids and productivity modelling., • Strong stakeholder management experience, influencing senior executives and C‑suite customers., • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
