Legal Support Services Team Leader\n Location: Shrewsbury, Telford, Hereford or Oswestry \n Job Type: Full Time, Permanent \n Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 DOE \n We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm for an experienced Legal Support Services Team Leader to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to lead a central legal support function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative and client support services across the business. Key Responsibilities\n\n • Lead, manage and support the Legal Support Services team, including legal administrative assistants, client services and telephony staff.\n, • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the shared legal support function, ensuring an efficient and accurate service is provided.\n, • Monitor team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service standards, taking appropriate action where required.\n, • Ensure administrative workflows are completed accurately and within agreed timescales to support legal teams across the firm.\n, • Supervise front-of-house reception and client service functions, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for clients and visitors.\n, • Oversee the timely transcription of legal dictation using speech recognition technology.\n, • Review and monitor the opening and processing of new client and matter files, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.\n, • Ensure post-completion and file management processes are completed accurately and efficiently.\n, • Oversee the input, maintenance and storage of electronic documentation within the firm's practice and document management systems.\n, • Manage the archiving of closed files in accordance with firm procedures.\n, • Ensure third-party practice management systems are utilised effectively and to a high standard.\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and service delivery.\nKey Skills and Experience\n\n, • Previous experience in a legal support, legal administration or operational management role within a professional services environment.\n, • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing a team.\n, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.\n, • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n, • Strong IT skills, including experience with practice management, document management and speech recognition systems.\n, • Ability to analyse workloads, monitor performance and implement process improvements.\n, • A proactive, solution-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.\n, • Commitment to delivering outstanding service to both internal and external clients.\nThe Opportunity\n Our client offers a supportive and collaborative working environment, a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
