Elevate is recruiting Paralegal to join our Compliance Operation Team in the UK. As a Paralegal you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our Customer, using your attention to detail skills, reviewing high volumes of litigation documents, cooperating with a wider team. Specifically, a Paralegal will: • Perform abstraction of low to mid complexity contracts including NDAs, Software License etc., • Review low to mid complexity contracts., • Review high volumes of complex litigation documents with highest productivity and accuracy., • Identify and assess the impact of application of review guidelines on documents., • Draft Decision Logs., • Ensure adherence to Elevate’s standard operating procedures on projects. Skills for success: • Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline driven environment., • Acute attention to detail while also using good judgment to achieve desired results within timelines., • Excellent drafting skills, particularly depicting complex ideas clearly and concisely., • Flexibility working on different projects from contract abstraction/review to litigation document review., • Highly organized, excellent writer who is passionate about delivering high quality work., • Like the sound of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment for a quickly growing company., • Are proficient in relevant technology and have a keen eye for detail., • Excellent drafting skills, particularly depicting complex ideas clearly and concisely., • Professionalism in both verbal and written work., • Keen understanding and ability to comply with confidentiality and security obligations., • Positive approach and able to work well in a close-knit team setting., • Integrity, ability to own mistakes and to learn from them. Experience: • 2-4 years of relevant legal practice., • Excellent track record in previous position with client support/customer service., • Experience in abstraction and reviewing of low to mid complexity contracts., • Experience in litigation document review. Technical skills: • Experience with Microsoft Products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint., • Ability to learn and use workflow tools, such as Cael or QuickBase.
