At NG Bailey Facilities Services, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Mobile General Maintenance Technician to support our contracts in the Leeds and Yorkshire region. This is your chance to shine in a varied mobile role where your practical building maintenance skills will be put to great use! \n In this position, you’ll enjoy working independently, solving problems, and delivering top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Performing a wide range of general maintenance tasks, including minor building repairs, decorating, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing.\n, • Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and reactive repairs within agreed service level agreements.\n, • Diagnosing faults and efficiently completing repairs across multiple locations.\n, • Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to meet contractual obligations.\n, • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, adhering to health and safety procedures.\n, • Maintaining accurate records of completed works and site documentation.\n, • Utilizing the client's CAFM system to log work and provide service updates.\n, • Liaising professionally with clients, teams, and subcontractors.\n, • Coordinating and supervising subcontractor works while upholding health and safety standards.\n, • Proactively identifying maintenance issues to maintain high standards.\n, • Undertaking minor works and small projects with minimal supervision.\nWorking Hours\n You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime when needed. What We’re Looking For\n We seek a practical and experienced General Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and can deliver exceptional planned and reactive maintenance. You should be comfortable managing your own workload across multiple sites while providing excellent customer service. \n Ideal candidates will have: \n\n • Experience in a Fabric Technician, Building Maintenance, Handyperson, or similar multi-skilled role.\n, • Practical experience with fabric-related PPM and reactive maintenance in commercial or industrial settings.\n, • A broad range of building maintenance skills, including repairs, decorating, carpentry, and plumbing.\n, • The ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs with minimal supervision.\n, • Good knowledge of health and safety requirements, including safe systems of work.\n, • Strong communication and customer service skills.\n, • Experience with job documentation and using mobile or CAFM systems.\n, • A relevant City & Guilds trade qualification or equivalent is advantageous.\n, • A full UK driving licence is essential.\nBenefits\n At NG Bailey, we’re committed to attracting and retaining great talent.
