Responsibilities & Authorities • Load and unload the washing machines, dryers and finishing equipment in accordance with approved recipes, production plans, garment specifications and machine capacity., • Execute denim finishing processes including desizing, enzyme wash, ozone, nebulising application, tinting, softening and neutralisation, together with any other treatments required., • Follow approved recipes accurately, including chemical quantities, temperature, time, liquor ratio, pH and loading standards, in order to achieve consistent results., • Monitor production throughout the day and ensure that shade, wash effect, hand feel, softness, shrinkage and appearance remain consistent with the approved standard and sample. Identify and report process deviations before they result in rejected work., • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on all equipment, including filters, belts, seals, hoses, drains and pumps, and maintain accurate records of the work completed., • Diagnose faults, carry out first line repairs, and escalate to the Laundry Manager or an external engineer where the fault falls outside the scope of the role., • Handle, decant, label and store all chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH requirements and LaundRe’s health and safety procedures., • Maintain accurate production records, including recipes run, batch cards, weights, chemical usage and machine hours., • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area at all times, and report any hazard, defect or near miss to the Laundry Manager without delay., • Support sample and bulk shade matching, troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimise rejection and reprocessing., • Assist with other areas of the operation as required, including laser, finishing, packing, and goods inwards and outwards., • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process, in particular the reduction of water, energy, chemical consumption and rework. 3. Main responsibilities • Diagnose and repair faults on digital gaming machines, fruit machines and other amusement equipment., • Service and repair pool tables, including coin mechanisms, ball releases, cushions, cloth and levelling., • Diagnose and repair digital jukeboxes, amplifiers, speakers and associated audio equipment., • Install, exchange and remove equipment at customer premises., • Configure equipment, internet connections, routers and basic network settings., • Complete preventative maintenance and equipment safety inspections., • Carry out software updates and basic equipment programming., • Maintain accurate digital job sheets, service records and parts-used information., • Manage spare parts and tools carried in the company vehicle., • Keep equipment clean, secure and professionally presented., • Communicate clearly with venue managers and staff., • Escalate recurring or complex technical faults when required., • Assist with machine collections, cash handling or meter readings where authorised and properly trained., • Follow company procedures relating to security, cash, data protection and health and safety., • Participate in an agreed out-of-hours or weekend call-out rota. Essential requirements • Good practical electrical, mechanical or technical skills., • Ability to diagnose faults logically and work independently., • Basic understanding of computers, software and networking., • Good communication and customer-service skills., • Reliable, organised and able to manage a daily workload., • Comfortable working in pubs, clubs and hospitality venues., • Physically capable of moving equipment safely with appropriate assistance and handling equipment., • Full UK driving licence., • Willingness to travel throughout the company’s service area., • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required., • Honest and trustworthy, particularly when working around cash and valuable equipment. Desirable experience Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: • Gaming, amusement or fruit machines., • Pool tables and coin-operated equipment., • Digital jukeboxes and commercial audio systems., • Electronic or electrical fault-finding., • Computers, routers, Wi-Fi and network cabling., • AV, CCTV, alarms or other field-service equipment., • Working in pubs, clubs, arcades or the wider leisure industry., • PAT testing or relevant electrical qualifications. Working hours The normal working pattern will be agreed with the successful applicant.
