About the role We have exciting opportunities for a Fire Engineers at all levels (Engineer to Associate Director) to join in our Bristol, Glasgow, London and Manchester offices. Hoare Lea’s Fire Engineering group is a leading team of experienced fire safety experts, many of whom are Chartered Engineers through the Institution of Fire Engineers. We have numerous research groups within the team to ensure that we remain at the cutting edge of our discipline; this includes computational and numerical modelling, emerging fire risks, new techniques and even fire testing – we recently led the design and implementation of two of the world’s largest ever cross laminated timber (CLT) compartment fire tests in France, to successfully validate our detailed calculations for a highly sustainable timber office building project. In addition to Hoare Lea’s best-in-class training, the fire group have developed extensive additional training and development opportunities – weekly training sessions for everyone, regular training away-days, innovation days and access to external training and conferences. We place a particular emphasis on enabling our team to achieve Chartered Engineer status – we have developed a programme for this and numerous fire engineers have obtained their CEng with us over the years. We are active in a number of key organisations such as the Society for Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), Smoke Control Association, BSI Group and Institution of Fire Engineers. We're looking for a Print Assistant to join our talented in-house Marketing Print Team within our Marketing department based at our Head Office in Glasgow. With an over 100-strong Marketing team, we keep it all in-house. We have the latest state of the art digital printing and finishing equipment, producing high volume UK wide print campaigns and producing various printed materials via our e commerce platform to support our branches and wider business - we do it all in this department. The Print Assistant is a key role within the marketing department and is responsible for assisting with the operation of our internal print division and the production of all business print requirements. As a Print Assistant, you will predominately focus on assisting the digital print teams with the co-ordination of all department and business print work to a high standard in line with business requirements. Ensuring items are produced and dispatched to branches on time. Full training will be provided. Hours Full time: Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm So, what will I be doing? Working as part of our Marketing print team, you can expect: You'll be assisting the digital print team with the co-ordination and delivery of marketing print campaigns, including the production and finishing of department and business print work in line with business requirements Responsible for supporting the team to ensure jobs are being processed through the production area to a high standard Assist the digital print team to ensure all print requirements are produced and delivered to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner Ensure all deliveries of materials and supplies for the department are dealt with in a quick and effective manner and stored in accordance with the print guidelines Maintain a clean, safe and tidy print environment and storage area at all times Provide the up keep, maintenance and cleaning of the print room environment and all printing equipment on a daily/weekly basis The ideal candidate for this role: You're a natural team player.
