Join us and help keep the nations critical networks connected and protected 24/7. \n The Field Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for the Openreach Fibre Build Networks contract deliverables ensuring these are delivered as planned by Telent and its partners / suppliers. This includes confirmations of resources on site, dealing with any in-life, real-time issues and flagging any requirements for jeopardy management. You will see all programmed works on-site through to completion, meeting set KPIs and SLAs. \n As the Field Compliance Supervisor, you will support Civils & Fibre gangs employed by Telents suppliers locally to ensure all safety, compliance and quality standards are being met through, a defined audit and inspection regime as set out by the Infrastructure Services business. The Field Compliance Supervisor will ensure compliancy of works across Cabling, Poling, Civils and again, the Fibre Build itself. The area to be covered is South West London so the successful person will live within an hour of Hounslow/Twickenham. \n You will be Telents customer ambassador in the field assisting all contract deliveries by enabling the programming of all works in the Telent workstack through the resolution of access and fluidity issues. \n What youll do:\n \n • Support the delivery of the Project Plan by working with Cluster Leads and Project Managers, ensuring cost-effective solutions and project fluidity.\n, • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, evaluating existing programs and making necessary improvements.\n, • Ensure suppliers have the agreed gangs on-site daily and all programmed work is attended to.\n, • Prioritize safety by ensuring all activities follow safe working practices and are supported by the correct documentation.\n, • Monitor suppliers to maintain a right first time quality culture, ensuring compliance with Openreach installation standards.\n, • Build effective relationships with suppliers and local Highways Authorities, ensuring high levels of street works compliance and reinstatement quality.\n, • Resolve local access issues with the public and businesses, managing wayleave and permission to dig processes.\n, • Attend Joint Site Meetings with asset owners and suppliers to unlock work fluidity.\n, • Respond promptly to urgent safety issues, supporting the resolution of defects within required timeframes.\n, • Conduct regular compliance audits and ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.\n, • Oversee site setups, confirming safety standards and granting 'permission to proceed' where appropriate.\n, • Assist in the training and onboarding of operatives, ensuring all vehicles and materials meet safety and environmental standards.\n, • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve escalated issues and manage temporary works in line with Telent's processes.\n, • Travel to Chorley / other UK wide locations to complete required training as part of the Field Compliance Supervisor role (overnight stays may be required)\n, • Experience of supervising civils, poling or cable gangs working in the Fibre networks industry or having held a position of site supervisor or similar in the construction or telecoms industry\n, • Basic cabling / rod and rope knowledge / skills\n, • NRSWA Supervisor Level certified\n, • NOPS (Networks Operative Passport Scheme) Highly desirable\n, • Full clean UK driving licence\n, • Possess an understanding of environmental legislation and compliance\n, • Experience with conducting surveys / assessments or similar\n, • IOSH Managing Safely (will be required to train in this in first 3 months)\n, • 34 days holiday, including public holidays, plus the option to buy or sell five days each year\n, • Company pension scheme\n, • Essential Vehicle\n, • A range of family friendly policies\n, • Occupational health support and wellbeing Portal\n, • Discounts on Cinema, Restaurants and Shopping with Telent Reward scheme\n \n #TJ-ONSITE \n #LI-Onsite \n About Us\n Telent is a leading technology company and specialist in the design, build, support and maintenance, drawing on decades of experience in mission critical communications and technology of the UKs critical digital infrastructure.
