    Head Indian Chef – Farringdon (City Location) An alpine inspired bar in the heart of Farringdon with a British pub classics menu across our floors, and an Indian menu launching early to mid January. Our current Head Chef is relocating to another site, and we are now looking for a serious, experienced North Indian cuisine specialist to lead our kitchen. This role is for someone who can adapt to our existing taste profile, work on exciting weekly specials, and also bring their own flavour and creativity where it aligns with our Indian menu. #You will work closely with our English Head Chef for menu collaborations and special cross cuisine dishes, while still maintaining strong ownership of the Indian section of the kitchen. Key Requirements • 7+ years experience in a Head Chef or Senior Chef role specialising in North Indian food, • Deep understanding of North Indian flavours, techniques and dish profiles, • Ability to create and lead on chef specials, • Trained and confident in event and large scale food production, • Full understanding of all Indian menu dishes and allergens, • Strong ability to collaborate with the English chef for British x Indian collabs, • 6 days a week, flexible and adaptable mindset, • Fast paced City location kitchen, • Ability to understand and execute British pub menu dishes when the English chef is not available, • Team leadership, stock control, kitchen standards, and menu knowledge across both cuisines Start Date We are looking for someone who can start immediately or mid to late January 2026 at the latest. Responsibilities:  Leading food safety, quality and legal compliance across TK Trading’s warehouse, wholesale and retail shop businesses.  Leading the HACCP team, owning the HACCP plan and leading its implementation.  Maintaining compliance to the independent food safety certification standard for the warehouse & wholesale operation.  Maintaining legal compliance and ensuring requirements of the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme are met for the shop, and liaising with the local authority on food safety/hygiene matters as required.  Developing and maintaining food safety & quality procedures and documentation.  Reviewing and approving new products including specifications, allergen and labelling information, and technical aspects of supplier approval and monitoring.  Investigating, and following up on food safety and quality issues and complaints to identify the root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions.  Driving a culture of continuous improvement and ‘doing the right thing’ Experience:  A minimum of 3 year’s experience in a food technical / quality management role.  A minimum of HACCP Level 3 qualification and experience of implementation of HACCP.  Experience of working with compliance to standards and audits.  Training on food labelling legislation and allergens.  Training on root cause analysis.  Preferred – experience of working with requirements for food import to the UK  Preferred – experience of working with Japanese or Oriental foods  Preferred – Japanese language skills.

    About the Role The Malayalee Association of the UK (MAUK) invites applications for a passionate, experienced and forward-thinking Principal to lead the London Academy of Dravidian Arts (LADA) — a specialist weekend performing arts academy dedicated to preserving, teaching and promoting the rich heritage of Dravidian classical and contemporary art forms including dance, music, drama and martial arts. Although LADA operates primarily on weekends the Principal role is a full-time leadership post (37.5 hours) responsible for year-round artistic direction, academy management, project delivery, performance planning, staff development, safeguarding, administration and community engagement.
