Youll be a vital part of our Accounts Payable team helping to keep our financial gears turning smoothly. This role is perfect for someone keen to build a strong foundation in finance get stuck into the nitty-gritty and learn a ton along the way. Youll report directly to our Accounts Payable Lead Glenn Palmer and work closely with the wider Finance team. This isnt just about crunching numbers; youll be interacting with both internal colleagues and external suppliers building key relationships that keep our operations running like clockwork. Your Daily Quest: Heres what their day-to-day adventure will look like the bread-and-butter (or avocado on toast whatever your preference): • Invoice Wizardry: Process invoices and credit notes matching them like a pro against purchase orders to ensure everything adds up., • Supplier Superstar: Open new supplier accounts and manage existing relationships including working on various supplier portals., • Payment Powerhouse: Prepare and process supplier payment runs making sure our suppliers are happy campers., • Expense Extraordinaire: Handle employee expenses ensuring accurate and timely processing., • Query Conqueror: Be the hero of our AP inbox and ticketing system promptly replying to supplier queries and actioning calls both internally and externally., • Reconciliation Rocker: Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations keeping our accounts sparkling clean., • Team Player MVP: Jump in and offer general support to the wider Finance team whenever an extra pair of hands is needed for ad-hoc projects. Efficiency Champion: Identify and implement one improvement to the Accounts Payable process that saves time or increases accuracy within your first year.
