As part of SPORTAX’s growing brand portfolio, DAKINE is poised for major expansion in the UK & Ireland — and we’re looking for a driven, connected, and passionate Account Manager to help make it happen. The Opportunity This is an incredible role for someone who’s as comfortable on the mountain as they are in the boardroom. You’ll be responsible for driving DAKINE’s commercial growth by opening new retail doors, strengthening key relationships, and leveraging SPORTAX’s existing network — including major accounts like the JD Group. You’ll play a pivotal role in elevating DAKINE’s presence and profitability across the UK market, combining your commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and passion for outdoor culture to grow market share in a way that feels authentic to the brand. What You’ll Do • Drive new business: Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with new retail accounts in the outdoor, snow, and surf sectors., • Grow key accounts: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new retail partners, ensuring category growth and long-term alignment., • Be brand-first: Champion DAKINE in the marketplace through regular store visits, training, and product visibility initiatives., • Own the sell-in process: Deliver compelling seasonal presentations and go-to-market plans in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team., • Stay on the pulse: Monitor competitor activity, analyse sales performance, and provide accurate forecasts to guide strategic decision-making., • Be a category expert: Represent DAKINE with credibility and passion, both internally and externally. What You Bring • Proven track record (3+ years) in sales, account management, or tech rep roles within the outdoor, snow, or surf industry., • Strong network of existing contacts across key retail accounts in the UK & Ireland., • Commercial mindset with the drive to exceed targets and deliver profitable growth., • Authentic passion for outdoor sports — you know the culture, the people, and the product., • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)., • Proactive, relationship-driven approach with strong time and territory management.
