Job Title: Early Years Practitioner Location: Exeter Salary: 14.25-15.00 an hour Contract Type: [Full-time / Part-time / Permanent / Fixed-term] Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing and supportive team. You will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged [0–5], supporting their development through play-based learning in a safe and stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play Observe, assess, and record children’s progress Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times About You We are looking for someone who: Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years) Has experience working with young children (desirable but not essential for Level 2 roles) Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic Has excellent communication and teamwork skills Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What We Offer A welcoming and supportive team environment Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development A rewarding role where you can make a real difference in children’s early development Safeguarding Our setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
