Clinical Negligence Solicitor Location: Birmingham | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Benefits We are working with a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked national firm seeking a Solicitor to join their established Clinical Negligence team in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist claimant practice handling complex, high-value clinical negligence work within a supportive and well-structured team environment. The Role You will join a leading medical negligence team acting for claimants on a wide range of serious and complex matters. The work includes cases across areas such as birth injury, spinal injury, delayed diagnosis, surgical negligence and other high-severity claims. You will: • Manage your own caseload of medical negligence files, • Support senior lawyers on complex, high-value multi-track matters, • Advise clients with empathy and clarity throughout the lifecycle of their claim, • Assist in securing interim payments to support rehabilitation and care, • Gain exposure to high-quality litigation and expert-led work This role offers a strong balance of autonomy and supervision, making it ideal for someone looking to build on early experience in clinical negligence within a high-performing team About You • NQ–3 PQE Solicitor with experience in medical negligence (or a relevant training seat), • Exposure to claimant clinical negligence or high-value personal injury work, • Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop technically, • Confident communicator with a client-focused and empathetic approach, • Keen to develop within a specialist, high-quality practice area The Opportunity • Join a top-tier, nationally recognised team with an excellent reputation in clinical negligence, • Work alongside experienced specialists on complex and high-value claims, • Clear progression pathway with ongoing training and development, • Supportive, collaborative team culture, • Hybrid working model with flexibility built in Benefits • Competitive salary - £50,000 - £57,000, • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (with option to buy additional leave), • Generous pension scheme, • Private healthcare / health cash plan, • Bonus scheme, • Flexible and hybrid working options, • Strong wellbeing and support initiatives
