We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential service supporting young adults with complex needs. This is a senior leadership role for someone who is confident operating autonomously, accountable for quality, compliance, and outcomes, and motivated by delivering truly person-centred care. You will be responsible for ensuring the service consistently meets CQC regulatory requirements, while creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where individuals can thrive and progress towards greater independence. About the Role You will have full operational and regulatory responsibility for the service and will be the CQC Registered Manager.. Key Responsibilities • Provide strong, visible leadership and act as a role model for best practice and values-led care, • Hold full operational accountability for the residential service, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times, • Maintain registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and act as the primary point of contact for inspections, audits, and monitoring visits, • Ensure effective safeguarding systems are in place and embedded across the service, • Oversee budgets, financial controls, and property management responsibilities, • Lead the development, implementation, and review of high-quality, outcome-focused care and support plans, • Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and external agencies, • Recruit, develop, and retain a competent, well-trained staff team, • Deliver regular supervision, appraisals, and performance development plans for senior and frontline staff, • Promote meaningful activities, community engagement, and positive life experiences for residents, • Ensure robust governance systems are in place, including audits, incident management, and continuous improvement plans, • Effectively plan, organise, and prioritise workload to ensure safe staffing and consistent service delivery CQC & Regulatory Requirements The successful candidate will: • Have proven experience leading services rated Good or Outstanding, or improving services against CQC action plans, • Be confident managing inspections, evidence gathering, and post-inspection improvement plans, • Ensure compliance across all five CQC domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led, • Maintain accurate records, policies, and governance documentation to CQC standards, • Embed a culture of continuous learning, reflection, and quality improvement What’s on Offer • Clear career progression with a transparent pay structure, • Fully funded professional qualifications, • Access to a national discount scheme across thousands of UK retailers, • Generous refer-a-friend incentive, • Early access to earned wages when required, • Comprehensive wellbeing support, including 24/7 GP access and mental health services, • Life assurance, • Flexible working patterns Email your CV to
