Commercial Coordinator – Civils\n\nSalary: £35,000-£40,000\n Location: Doncaster (with travel to client sites, suppliers, and project locations)\n Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30–16:30\n Job Type: Full Time, Permanent\n\nWorking closely with the Civils Project Controls Manager, you will support project delivery through accurate estimating, supply chain management, commercial administration, and client-facing activities. If you’re looking for a role that blends office-based work with site visits and offers genuine development opportunities, this could be a great fit.\n\nBenefits\n\nClear development and progression pathways\nExposure to a wide range of civils and construction projects\nSupport with professional training and qualifications\nCompany pension scheme\nLife assurance\nOpportunity to influence commercial processes and supply chain strategy\nKey Responsibilities\n\nVisit client sites to understand project requirements, carry out surveys, and define scope\nPrepare work proposals in collaboration with civils management\nProduce accurate estimates and quotations in line with company procedures\nPresent draft quotations for internal review and approval\nManage the civils supply chain, securing competitive pricing for plant, materials, subcontractors, and consultants\nLead commercial negotiations to secure discounts and rebates\nMaintain and update supplier databases/CRM systems\nSupport procurement activities, including raising purchase orders\nPrepare project-related HSE documentation\nLiaise with Accounts to resolve supplier invoice queries\nReconcile deliveries against invoices where required\nEnsure timely invoicing for completed works and manage interim invoicing\nMonitor and support project cash flow, ensuring prompt payment and accurate billing\nSkills, Qualifications & Training\n\nEssential\n\nDegree or HNC in Civils, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying\nStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, etc.)\nExcellent communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities\nDesirable\n\nRICS accreditation or working towards it\nExperience\n\nEssential\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in quantity surveying or estimating within construction\nDesirable\n\nExperience in civils, utilities, or infrastructure environments\nESG Responsibilities\n\nDemonstrate environmental awareness in day‑to‑day work and consider the impact on local communities\nAdhere to Anti‑Bribery and Corruption policies\nReport any unethical behaviour through the company’s Whistleblowing policy\nSimilar Job Titles\n\nCommercial Support Officer, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Civils Estimator, Commercial Administrator, Project Commercial Coordinator, Procurement & Commercial Officer\n\nFor further information or to discuss similar opportunities, contact Reegan on (phone number removed) or email (url removed)\n\nINDTE
