Location: Harworth (Nottinghamshire / South Yorkshire border) — office-based Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) pro rata including bonus (37.5) depending on experience Contract : Full-time (part-time considered for the right candidate) Bonus: Two performance-based schemes after six months About the Role We’re an established furniture and interiors business seeking a Supply Chain Manager with strong forecasting and logistics experience. You’ll take ownership of stock planning, supplier performance, and long-lead-time imports (typically 20–28 weeks door-to-door). The right person will balance availability, cost, and margin — keeping top sellers in stock while managing containers, shipping schedules, and supplier accountability. What You’ll Do Oversee the full supply chain from order to delivery, managing forecasting, budgeting, and stock planning. Handle container consolidation and freight logistics efficiently and cost-effectively. Manage factories in China and Asia, resolving production, timing, and quality challenges. Maintain the critical path and drive timely, high-quality production. Implement best practices in quality control and supplier performance. Analyse sales, margins, and budgets to inform purchasing and demand planning. What You’ll Bring 1–3 years in supply chain, planning, or purchasing (ideally in long-lead-time imports or interiors). Strong understanding of container shipping and Asian factory management. Commercial mindset with experience analysing sales performance, margins, and budgets. Excellent organisational, communication, and reporting skills. Detail-driven, proactive, and confident holding teams and suppliers accountable.
