Associate Surveyor We're looking for a Chartered Surveyor to join our growing team and take the lead on land inspections, reporting, and case progression across utilities and land‑based work. You'll work independently, undertake valuations, and ensure all outputs meet the right professional standards in line with RICS regulations. You'll also play a key role in the team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and helping deliver a reliable, professional service to clients, landowners, and external stakeholders. Ideal for someone in a residential or utility role currently, looking to branch out into something more strategic. What You'll Be Doing Deliver a high‑quality, professional service to clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, maintaining a courteous, professional approach in all interactions Answer questions from legal owners and homeowners about inspections, valuations, and workflow processes Plan and conduct land inspections independently, recording accurate measurements and observations Undertake preliminary and full valuations and complete injurious affection assessments Follow all quality assurance, health & safety, and lone‑working protocols Maintain accurate digital records and ensure data integrity within the Case Management System Take ownership of your caseload, progressing work efficiently and within required timescales Communicate inspection outcomes and updates clearly to clients and internal teams Support more complex or sensitive cases when needed Share technical knowledge and support wider team projects Contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment Work in full accordance with RICS, TPO, CTSI, and all relevant regulatory requirements Keep up to date with professional standards and support colleagues through their trainingWhat We're Looking For AssocRICS or MRICS qualification essential; minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience Registered Valuer status ideal but not required Interest in utilities and land rights work Strong valuation skills and experience preparing detailed professional reports Competence in planning, development, title considerations, and land assessment (or willingness to develop these) High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders Ability to manage your own workload and work independently A positive and professional approach to teamwork and client serviceWhat You'll Get Clear structure and professional standards Opportunities for ongoing training and development RICS membership fully funded A varied, interesting workload across land and utilities projects Early finish every Friday (14:30)
