CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage department OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area. What you'll do? Lead, inspire, and motivate the team through strong communication, integrity, and role modelling. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance across the team. Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations to ensure efficient daily operations. Drive team development through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training. Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, safety standards, and legal regulations (including liquor laws). Maintain high productivity levels and provide clear leadership direction aligned to business goals. Deliver exceptional guest experiences by exceeding service expectations and acting as a visible hospitality role model. Manage day-to-day operations to ensure consistent quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction. Handle guest feedback and complaints effectively, implementing continuous service improvements. Support people management activities including performance management, employee engagement, fairness, and retention Additional Responsibilities Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Assist servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times. Recognize good quality products and presentations. Supervise daily shift operations in absence of Assistant Restaurant Manager. Oversee the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices.
