This role involves generating assessment reports by: taking data from technical reports and transferring it into our Excel model using various third party applications to source additional data on, for example, solar electricity generation syncing the data with our reporting template and topping and tailing with templated commentary. The role involves both data entry and thinking on your feet. We're still developing the model around new use cases so the job will suit candidates able to think on their feet, question what's in front of them and problem solve. No direct energy assessment experience needed (we'll provide training) but interest and/or experience in sustainability or net zero solutions would be helpful. Each report takes 2-3 hours to complete. You can choose how many reports you commit to on a case by case basis. Full remote/flexible hours. UK living wage (£11.44/hr).

The role We are seeking a detail-oriented Energy Retrofit Analyst to support our CEO on a contract basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our home energy retrofit assessments. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing data collected during energy assessments, verifying input accuracy, and signing off assessment reports. Key responsibilities - Review data sourced from RdSAP assessments and entered into our proprietary Excel model by our team, together with supporting images and documentation - Collaborate with EPC assessors and our internal team to ensure data accuracy and completeness. - Identify discrepancies or areas requiring clarification and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution. - Sign off each assessment in our Excel model - Generate and sign off final reports for customer delivery. - Monitor and highlight any necessary changes or improvements to the Excel model, suggesting solutions when possible. Requirements - Proven experience in energy performance assessments and retrofit. - Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to understand complex data models and troubleshoot issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with assessors, customers, and team members. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in deliverables.
