2nd Line Support Engineer – (2nd Line, Infrastructure, Support, O365, AD, Networking, DNS/DHCP, Routing, Switching, Windows, Group Policy, Server) – Permanent – Blackburn Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in Blackburn. This role is onsite, with travel to other sites when needed. Location: Blackburn Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Skills/Requirements for the 2nd Line Support Engineer: • Previous experience within a similar role is vital, • Ability to work independently, • Strong O365, • Extensive Windows Desktop support around 10/11, • Extensive Active Directory experience, • Networking support. Basic configuration of routers & Switches, • DNS/DHCP support, • Group Policy Start date is ASAP for the 2nd Line Support Engineer The 2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for: • Supporting users on both a remote and face to face basis when needed., • Carrying out service requests, • Taking ownership of escalated calls from the service desk, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, • Triaging and escalating complex issues to the 3rd Line team, • Managing their own workload in accordance with the businesses SLA’s & KPI’s, • Installing, configuring and maintaining desktop and laptop hardware and software, • Reviewing, amending and where needed creating technical and employee facing knowledge base for articles and procedures., • Providing the highest level of customer service when onsite Please send an up-to-date copy of your CV to be considered for the 2nd Line Support Engineer 2nd Line Support Engineer – (2nd Line, Infrastructure, Support, O365, AD, Networking, DNS/DHCP, Routing, Switching, Windows, Group Policy) – Permanent – Blackburn
