As a result of internal progression and the launch of exciting new initiatives, we are recruiting for an ER Policy Advisor within our Employee Relations Advisory Services (ERAS) team.This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact, develop your employee relations expertise, and grow your career within a supportive, high-performing teamAbout the RoleDeliver expert Employee Relations advice to managers at all levels across the organisation through both written and telephone-based support.Manage a diverse portfolio of Employee Relations cases, providing tailored and pragmatic advice while prioritising activity based on risk, complexity, and business need.Draft and review ER correspondence, including outcome letters and case-related documentation, providing clear and constructive guidance to managers.Coach and develop manager capability across all areas of people management, supporting the fair, consistent, and effective application of policies and procedures.Maintain accurate and timely case records within the ER case management system, proactively driving cases through to resolution.Work collaboratively with ER Advisory Services Team Leaders, HR colleagues, and key stakeholders to resolve complex and sensitive employee relations matters.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ER Advisory Service by sharing insights, identifying opportunities, and promoting best practice.Identify and escalate emerging trends from casework and enquiries, helping to inform improvements to policy, process, and manager capability.About YouTo excel in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employee relations best practice.Excellent written and verbal (over the phone) communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.Experience of coaching and upskilling managers, supporting them to make balanced, fair, and commercially sound decisions.Strong questioning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage complex Employee Relations cases, providing pragmatic and commercially focused solutions while effectively managing risk.Ability to build strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders to deliver business objectives.Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified, or working towards qualification.A passion for continuous improvement, learning, and personal development.Extra Benefits• Family friendly support - enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave and shared parental leave• Supportive and generous company sick pay• Funded Dental – As a manager you are eligible to a level of employer funded dental insurance• Health Assessment – As a manager you are eligible to an employer funded health assessment every 2 years• Benefits Account – You will have access to your personal benefits account on our ‘My Bundle+’ platform.
