The firm fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment , investing in staff development and encouraging career progression. Responsibilities: Financial reporting & compliance Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, bookkeeping, VAT submissions, and management reports. Client relationship management Act as a trusted adviser, providing support on accounting queries and software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks). Team mentoring Supervise and guide junior team members, reviewing work and supporting professional development. Quality assurance Ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and current tax legislation, maintaining high standards in all deliverables. Process improvement Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency and client service. About You: AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with a strong technical grounding. Practice experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance, VAT, and bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and current tax regulations. Confident with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and good Excel skills (CCH advantageous). Excellent communication skills , with the ability to explain financial information clearly to clients. Highly organised , with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
