Learn more at . We seek experienced IT Infrastructure Deployment Technicians to join our deployment team as onsite build leads. The candidate must be able to travel extensively within the UK & Europe, quickly establish relationships with local teams, guide on deployment best practices, identify and report risks, and support milestones being met on time. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair during the turn-up and provisioning phases. Location: The employee can be based anywhere in the UK or near a DC in Europe, but extensive travel will be required. Please see below. Travel: This role involves extensive travel throughout the UK and Europe. Regular travel- up to 50%- across the European Union is a requirement of this role. Candidates must be able to travel freely and undertake work activities within the EU member states without the need for additional visas. You will be assigned to specific data centre sites for the deployment phase, working onsite Monday through Friday. Accommodation will be provided during these assignments if the site isn't within reasonable commuting distance. Role And Responsibilities • Assemble and install equipment, • Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment, • Maintain inventory best practices, • Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs, • Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures, • Training of internal teams, • Development of documentation, • Provide technical support to data centre teams Requirements • Extensive experience with computer hardware (troubleshooting, assembling), • Deploying IT Server & Network Infrastructure at scale, • Data Center deployment experience is highly beneficial, • Candidates should be able to lift up to 22kg and/or work in elevated locations, • Ability to work in an environment that operates a shift pattern with an ability to provide after-hours support as needed, • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, • Must be able to prioritise tasks and react quickly to issues, • Linux Operating System experience, • Computer Networking experience, • Python, Bash or other scripting languages experience, • Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS, • An degree or equivalent experience in an IT related field Why CoreWeave?
