Senior IFA Administrator (Senior Client Services) \n Location: Edgbaston | Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE | Hybrid: 2 days from home, 3 in office \n Our client, a well-established independent financial planning firm, is seeking an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join their growing Midlands team. This is a senior Client Services role for an administrator ready to take on real responsibility — supporting financial advisers and planners while coaching and developing more junior administrators. \n The firm is genuinely independent (non-restricted), so the successful candidate will work across a full range of products — investments, pensions, transfers, protection and mortgages — and multiple provider platforms including Quilter, Standard Life, Transact, Aviva, Fidelity and Elevate. The variety keeps the work interesting and skills sharp. The firm is values-led, collaborative and committed to developing its people, offering the rare combination of a supportive local culture with the backing of a national group. \n The role \n Reporting to the Client Service Managers and advisers, the successful candidate will: \n\n • Process new business following adviser handover, obtaining LOAs and illustrations and submitting to providers via platform\n, • Ensure all compliance documents are in place before submission, in line with the firm's New Business Process\n, • Prepare valuation reports, review packs and Post Review Summary reports for client meetings\n, • Run Risk Profiler and FE Analytics fund switch reports, processing switches \n, • Handle withdrawal instructions, client queries and back-office record accuracy\n, • Coach colleagues, deliver training and help the wider team prioritise workload\n\n About the candidate \n The ideal applicant will have: \n\n • Experience as an administrator within an IFA or wealth management firm\n, • With confidence across multiple products and platforms\n, • A natural ability to support junior staff through coaching and training\n, • Strong product knowledge and a clear grasp of conduct rules and compliance requirements\n, • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisation, and composure under competing deadlines\n\n Salary and benefits \n\n • Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience\n, • Pension: 3% employer contribution with salary sacrifice\n, • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 with service\n, • Group life cover at 4x salary, income protection and company sick pay (post-probation)\n, • Employee Assistance Programme and financial wellbeing support\n, • Hybrid working: up to 2 days from home each week\n
