Social Media & Marketing Executive - Bath, UK. Context & Standards This marketing agency work with the top 0.1% of global brands predominantly in the luxury market (Yachts, Real Estate, Luxury Cars etc). These clients expect a level of polish, thinking, coordination and responsiveness that is not typical agency level. That includes: • Planning and strategy that feels Boardroom/CEO grade, • Content and campaigns with flawless taste and detail, • International travel for launches and shoots when required, • Turnaround times that feel premium, not convenient, • Support after launch instead of “deliverables dropped and gone, • You are expected to operate at this level from day one, and to enforce it across the team. Area's the agency work across, and you’ll have direct involvement with: • Cinematic Videography, Photography & Drone Campaigns, • Social Media Marketing (caption writing, content creation, strategy etc.), • Digital Marketing (SEO’s, Blog Writing, etc.), • Website Design, Build and Management, • Paid Ads (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.) They position themselves, and actively describe themselves as businesses “external, In-house marketing department”. Despite what many people presume, there are many companies out there with 15+ marketing employees, and still contract their services due to the high level of specialist creative output they get, but struggle to find in employed individuals. The Social Media & Marketing Exec is responsible for owning the end-to-end delivery of social-first content and campaign production for assigned clients — from strategy and concept development through production, post-production, scheduling, and performance optimisation. This role blends creative ideation, content production, platform expertise, social media management, strategy and production management to ensure consistently high-quality, on-brand, and results-driven content. They act as the central quality controller and creative operator across social and video projects. Key Responsibilities A) Social Media Strategy & Account Management • Content planning, strategy, creation, implementation, and management for both company accounts (EDITALL & ORCA MEDIA) - across all platforms used. For Clients • Develop and manage social media strategies aligned with client brand objectives, • Conduct onboarding audits of client accounts and competitors, • Create content pillars and monthly content plans, • Manage page optimisation (bios, highlights, grids, branding consistency), • Write engaging, brand-aligned captions and calls to action, • Select relevant hashtags and keywords, • Schedule and publish content across platforms, • Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions where required, • Track performance and prepare monthly reports with insights and recommendations B) Content Creation & Creative Development • Conceptualise social-first content ideas (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, carousels, Stories), • Plan content themes and campaign concepts, • Capture high-quality photo and video content during monthly client visits, • Edit short-form video and static content for social platforms, • Maintain and organise each client’s content bank, • Ensure visual consistency with brand guidelines C) Paid Social & Boosting • Set up boosted posts and paid campaigns as required, • Select targeting parameters and budgets, • Monitor ad performance and optimise where necessary, • Co-ordinate with the wider team or client regarding objectives and results D) Producer / Production Management • Develop creative treatments and storyboards for video shoots, • Source models, talent, and influencers where required, • Manage talent communication, briefing, and scheduling, • Plan shoot logistics (locations, permits, equipment, crew, shot lists), • Organise travel and accommodation where applicable, • Manage shoot-day schedules and running orders, • Act as quality controller on set and in post-production E) Quality Assurance & Brand Guardianship • Ensure all content meets brand, creative, and technical standards, • Review content before client delivery or publishing, • Maintain consistency across visuals, tone, and messaging, • Identify issues early and resolve proactively F) Client Communication & Relationship Management • Act as day-to-day creative point of contact for assigned clients, • Attend monthly client visits and presentations, • Present concepts and content plans clearly, • Manage feedback and revisions professionally, • Build strong, long-term client relationships G) Workflow & Operations • Manage tasks and deadlines using project management tools, • Co-ordinate with internal team members and freelancers, • Maintain organised file structures and naming conventions, • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes Technical / Platform Skills Canva Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom CapCut Meta Business Suite TikTok Business Manager Basic paid ads management (Meta, TikTok) Google Workspace Asana / ClickUp / Monday / Notion Many Chat Creative & Editorial Skills • Strong visual eye and aesthetic judgement, • Creative concept development, • Storyboarding and shot-list creation, • Short-form video editing, • Creative writing and caption writing, • Strong understanding of social trends, • Brand voice development, • Campaign ideation Production Skills • Talent sourcing and co-ordination, • Shoot planning and logistics, • Budget awareness, • Scheduling and running order creation, • On-set co-ordination, • Quality control Professional & Soft Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication, • Confident in client-facing environments, • High level of written English, • Strong organisational skills, • Time management, • High attention to detail, • Self-motivated and proactive, • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, • Strong problem-solving mindset, • Adaptable in fast-paced environments, • Team player, • Able to work independently, • Strong follow-through, • Networking ability, • Commercial awareness Ideally you will have agency-side experience, be local to Bath area (you are required to be in office for collaboration ideally 2-4 x a week) have good luxury brand exposure and expertise.
