The Business Analyst / Consultant is responsible for analysing business operations, identifying areas for improvement and providing practical advice and solutions to support the organisation’s objectives, efficiency and growth. Key Duties and Responsibilities • * Analyse existing business processes, procedures and operational activities to identify areas for improvement., • * Gather and assess business requirements through discussions with management, employees, clients and other relevant stakeholders., • * Review business performance, financial information and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities., • * Prepare reports, recommendations and business proposals based on research and analysis., • * Advise management on strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, profitability and overall business performance., • * Assist with the development and implementation of new business processes, systems and working practices., • * Identify operational problems and recommend appropriate solutions., • * Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring., • * Conduct market, competitor and industry research to support strategic decision-making., • * Develop process maps, business requirements and other documentation where required., • * Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and recommend further improvements where appropriate., • * Liaise with internal departments, external suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and achieved., • * Support management with project planning and the implementation of business improvement initiatives., • * Identify potential business risks and assist in developing appropriate risk-management measures., • * Provide professional business advice and consultancy support to management and relevant stakeholders., • * Prepare and deliver presentations, reports and recommendations to senior management., • * Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to business analysis and consultancy projects., • * Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role of a Business Analyst / Consultant. Skills and Competencies The successful candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills and the ability to interpret complex business information. They should be able to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to support business decision-making.
