The Role Join our team as a Transport Administrator, supporting the Central Distribution Transport function and helping to keep our fleet operations running smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly every day.Competitive salary: £13.09 hourly rateWorking closely with our maintenance partners to keep our vans and company cars fully compliant (MOT, tax, servicing) while keeping all records up to dateReviewing invoices for accuracy, raising order, and keeping repair logs accurate and currentBeing the first point of contact for queries - handling calls and supporting all vehicle-related requestsPulling together KPI data and making sure reporting is always delivered on timeKeeping on top of congestion charges and ensuring all paperwork is filed and audit-readySupporting weekly fleet checks, including tracking VOR vehicles and hire carsCarrying out regular Driver Licence checks to ensure full complianceOrdering driver uniforms and supporting wider driver administrationManaging company car mileage records, including deductions and service remindersMonitoring fuel usage, spotting any unusual activity, and managing fuel cardsCoordinating hire and lease vehicles, including raising orders and tracking usageKeeping track of van movements across sites, ensuring all processes are followed correctlySupporting the onboarding of new vehicles and the disposal of old ones, liaising with multiple stakeholdersMaintaining insurance records and ensuring everything is up to dateProcessing parking and speeding fines where requiredManaging vehicle tracker fobs and ensuring they are issued correctlySupporting month-end processes, including statement reconciliationEnsuring all activities are compliant with Health & Safety and company standardsGetting involved in wider team support and taking on additional tasks when neededIn your dream role, you`ll also receive:Staff discount24-hr Retail Trust helpline and resources*Enhanced maternity and paternity pay The Person This is the type of person we`re dreaming of:Excellent communication at all levels.A self-motivator with the ability to motivate others by demonstrating a can-do approach to problem solving and team building.Able to build up effective relationships with colleagues, customers & suppliers.Able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.Adaptable and flexible in his or her approach to work.Able to communicate effectively between departments.Previous Administration experience in a similar environment.Good I.T Skills, including the Microsoft Office suite.*Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with a focus on attention to detail.
