Role/Title: Claims Handler Role/Title: Claims Handler Location: Remote Industry: Insurance ( Property Recovery claims) Years of experience: 2- 3 years Job Description • Experience in dealing with and managing Insurance claims, particularly UK Property Insurance claims, • Handle and process property insurance claims efficiently and accurately, • Assess and validate claims documentation to determine coverage and liability, • If needed : Liaise with loss adjusters, surveyors, and other relevant parties to gather information and expedite claims resolution, • Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third parties, ensuring fair and timely resolutions, • Handle recoveries for property claims in UK, maximising opportunities for subrogation, • Maintain detailed and accurate claim files and records, • Identify and report potential fraudulent claims to the appropriate departments, • Provide excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process, • Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements, • Collaborate with underwriting and other departments to improve policy wording and risk assessment, • Meet or exceed performance targets for claims handling and customer satisfaction, • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills in all aspects of claims management
