Systems Simulation & Modelling Engineer - Bournemouth This Systems Simulation & Modelling Engineer's position in based on Bournemouth Airport on Cobham's NATOJEWCS programme. The Systems Simulation & Modelling Engineer is responsible for applying discipline domain expertise to the design, development and delivery new products processes and technologies. The Systems Simulation & Modelling Engineer will typically be part of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and will contribute to the performance of the IPT to ensure that the performance expectations are met or exceeded. They will ideally have some experience in power related electronics, or 2-3 years in a similar role selling board/chassis mounted components on a 'design in' basis. They will need to be flexible, adaptable and prepared to ensure our customers and prospective customers gain without any question or compromise the highest level of service throughout all phases of the relationship. Being a team player is paramount in making this appointment a success for all concerned. The role is office based at our Christchurch manufacturing facility, but there will be the need on a regular basis to visit prospective customers and established customers. A UK driving licence is therefore also required. Previous experience of gaining parts designed into the Military, Medical, Aerospace, Process Control and high grade Industrial markets would be a distinct advantage. Responsibilities would include Building and developing strong sustainable customer relationships.
