Salary: £27,500 – £35,000 DOE On-Target Earnings (OTE): £60,000 - £80,000 Job type: Full-time Permanent Location: Central Manchester About the Business Established in 2010, the business is a directly authorised financial services firm specialising in Lending, Protection and General Insurance. We operate with a strong panel of insurers and provide a holistic, customer-focused advice service. The business continues to grow and has clear plans for further expansion through 2026, supported by consistent inbound lead generation and ongoing investment in people, systems and compliance. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Protection Advisor to join the team. This role is suited to an advisor who is comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, takes pride in delivering quality advice, and manages their workload effectively without the need for close supervision. Ongoing support, training and regular meetings are provided to ensure advisers are fully supported in delivering the required standards. Key Responsibilities • Managing approximately 6–8 inbound web enquiries per day, • Completing full fact-finds to understand customers’ needs and circumstances, • Providing clear, compliant and suitable protection recommendations, • Accurately documenting all advice and client interactions within the CRM, • Managing your own pipeline and workload effectively, • Ensuring all advice meets FCA and internal regulatory standards Skills and Experience Required • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Financial Services (Protection experience preferred), • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner, • Highly motivated, organised and target-driven, • Ability to build rapport with clients using a consultative approach, • Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to compliance and record-keeping Training and Development • Full role-specific training provided, • Ongoing support and coaching, • Company-funded professional qualifications (R05 / CII / CEMAP), • Continued development opportunities to support long-term career progression Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 09:30 – 19:00 Friday: 09:30 – 13:30 Benefits and Incentives • 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, • Paid birthday off (after 12 months’ service), • Company-funded industry qualifications, • Monthly and quarterly team events, • Monthly incentives (most recently: a European Christmas Markets trip for two) Why Join Us This role offers a consistent flow of inbound enquiries, a strong insurer panel, and a supportive yet autonomous working environment.
