Cook/Chef will be responsible for packing, cooking, and assisting with a variety of programs and special events. This includes supporting cooking classes, wellness events, food drives, and community gatherings by producing fresh, high-quality food in a mobile and dynamic environment. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a cook or chef in catering, restaurant, or large-scale food preparation. - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (NYC Food Handler’s Certificate preferred) - Ability to work independently and efficiently in mobile/temporary kitchen setups. - Comfortable working in diverse community settings. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to lift and transport food and equipment (up to 50 lbs). - Flexibility to work varied schedules, including some evenings and weekends. - Reliable transportation to different program locations.
