This is a unique opportunity to represent a young luxury marque unbound by tradition, and to showcase its most exciting products and concepts to guests from New York City and around the world. Important note: This is not a sales role. Instead, we are looking for individuals who are genuinely enthusiastic about people, culture, art, design, and of course, automotive. As a Genesis Curator, you’ll be on the front line of a brand that’s here to inspire, delight, and surprise—truly shaping the future of the luxury automotive experience. The Experience Centers • Genesis House – Located in NYC’s Meatpacking District, Genesis House seamlessly blends hospitality and design. Guests can explore the entire Genesis vehicle portfolio alongside a world-class Korean restaurant, a tea pavilion and library, an event space, and a rooftop terrace. Role Summary: Curator As a Genesis Curator, you are the face and voice of the brand. You’ll create personalized, memorable guest interactions, exceed service expectations, and help drive performance at both Genesis House and Genesis Studio. This role is highly interactive and hands-on, requiring empathy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for luxury experiences. Responsibilities • Be a Genesis Ambassador daily by providing an exceptional guest service experience by demonstrating emotional intelligence while having excellent knowledge of the brand, products and services, • Acquiring sales Leads and promoting demonstration drives, • Become an expert on the Genesis brand, Genesis House and Studio, Genesis products, and Genesis Owners (frequent guests and VIPs), • Capture meaningful guest and owner data according to the company guidelines for the purposes of connecting with the guest, building relationships and personalizing future client development opportunities, • Provide guests with an elevated experience of the Genesis Brand, by guiding a unique and memorable guest journey through Genesis House/Studio, tailoring every experience to each guest, • Responsible for meeting KPI’s that are distributed among curator team and are cascaded down from client expectations, • Assist with the execution of onsite events, • Prepare for guest arrival including physical store opening setup and becoming Genesis Ready (dressed, engaged, prepared for the day ahead) in order to consistently create exceptional experiences for guests and colleagues, • Assist guests with demonstration drive (test drives) of Genesis vehicles, • Craft custom experiences based on guest input and situational cues, • Maintain and provide appropriate follow-up on all guest and owner requests, • Work as a team player and partner with fellow colleagues, foster open and constructive communication to ensure a consistent exceptional experience and contribute to a positive working environment, • Desire to be coached by managers as well as colleagues to drive personal growth and achievement, • Maintain security standards to ensure safety of guests, owners, colleagues and vehicles, • Contribute to upholding the visual display of all products, • Floor duties: opening/closing, provide coverage for the floor when colleagues are at lunch/taking a break, • Support management in achieving goals by focusing on quality of guest interactions, • Share and provide relevant feedback from guests to management in order to drive performance and find new innovative ways to run the floor, • Maintain the elegance of the experience centers by performing spot cleaning as necessary and vehicle maintenance., • Adhere to Genesis’ grooming standards, • Uniforms are provided and must be worn during each shift, including shoes., • Additional responsibilities may be assigned Qualifications • 3+ years of experience preferably in automotive/auto shows, hospitality, events or guest experience, • Bachelor's degree, preferred, • Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building skills, • Passionate about people, • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with guests and coworkers and provide feedback and coaching to drive team performance, • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, • Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment, • High flexibility and ability to adapt to different situations, • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business and guest needs which includes evenings, weekends and holidays, • Frequently required to walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, carry & lift items, stoop, kneel, crouch and stand for almost 100% of shift, • Must be comfortable driving a vehicle in NYC, have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record Work Environment • Frequently standing up or moving within and outside of the facility., • Must be able to move about assigned venue safely, and with ease., • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds., • Ability to climb stairs as necessary., • Bending, stooping, kneeling, regularly
