The Art Of Craftsmanship’ video: PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Under general supervision, supports export/import control services by providing information, guidance, training, assessments, and audits in alignment with standard practices. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while enabling the business to execute its strategy and address challenges. Maintains regular communication with international customers by answering inquiries, coordinating shipments, and providing ongoing support. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Maintain and manage all U.S. Department of Commerce import permits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely renewals., • Prepare, submit, and track export permits for international distributors, ensuring adherence to all applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations., • Manage all Class 3 licenses, including renewals, compliance tracking, and documentation., • Manage export compliance by maintaining BIS and WHD licenses, overseeing USMCA certifications, and ensuring products meet Rules of Origin requirements. Maintain accurate ECCN classifications, stay current with EAR updates, • Prepare, submit, and monitor ATF Form 3 applications, ensuring timely approvals and accurate recordkeeping., • Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers, providing daily communication regarding orders, compliance requirements, shipping status, and regulatory questions., • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, logistics, compliance, legal, and manufacturing) to ensure smooth international transactions and customer satisfaction., • Maintain organized, auditable records related to permits, licenses, and regulatory filings., • Monitor changes in U.S. and international firearms regulations and proactively recommend process updates to ensure ongoing compliance., • Assist in resolving customer issues related to regulatory delays, discrepancies, or shipping challenges., • Support audits and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, compliance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • Minimum of five years of experience in international customer service, compliance, or regulatory management within a highly regulated industry (firearms experience strongly preferred)., • Working knowledge of ATF regulations, Class 3 licensing, ATF Form 3 submissions, and U.S. Department of Commerce import/export requirements., • Strong understanding of international trade and export compliance principles.
