Job Description TITLE: QI Coordinator LOCATION: ACS Field Office/Queens, NY REPORTS TO: Program Director/MF QI Department DEPARTMENT: Clinical Support Services SCHEDULE: Full Time – Mon-Fri, 9AM – 5PM $1,000 Hiring Bonus AGENCY BACKGROUND: MercyFirst is a not-for-profit human and social service agency that has been serving children and families in need since we were founded by the Sisters of Mercy/Hermanas de las Misericordia in 1894. PROGRAM BACKGROUND: Mercy First partnered with ACS to establish a new Clinical Support Program to serve families experiencing challenges with unmet clinical needs in the borough of Queens. The Clinical Support program is an interdisciplinary team of licensed clinicians and support staff, all of whom support families navigating challenges in the areas of mental health, addiction, and IPV. The Clinical Support team works with CPS Teams and/or directly with impacted families to ensure optimal service delivery. The team assists with family engagement approaches, with assessing/screening for the most pressing needs, and with identifying and facilitating connections to relevant resources. POSITION SUMMARY: The QI Coordinator will have dual reporting responsibility, to both the Program Director and MercyFirst’ s Performance $ Quality Improvement department. The QI Coordinator requires the ability to formulate and sustain positive working relationships while also promoting best practice and satisfaction of all requirements. This position requires an understanding of data integration and skills with such software as Excel and client management systems (such as CNNX) as well as an ability to review documentation, note positives, and address areas where performance has not met requirements/expectations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of related bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience such as casework or clinician in child welfare., • Strong analytical and reporting skills as well as an ability to timely document., • Strong data management/integration, client integration skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: • The QI Coordinator will report to the Clinical Support Program director and MercyFirst’ s PQI department for optimal oversight, program performance and program viability., • Must be comfortable with the use of Microsoft Word, Excell, etc., and accessing electronic platforms such as Connections., • The QI Coordinator will attend all relevant meetings (in-person & virtual), required for the role and provide documentation as needed., • The QI Coordinator will be detailed oriented during review periods and understand how to interpret data, while ensuring adherence to program requirements.
