Job Description About the Role This hybrid role combines M&A deal execution with FP&A analytical support by owning the full acquisition lifecycle from financial modeling and due diligence through close, while also contributing to ongoing financial planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will work closely with Finance leadership to drive rigor and pace on active deals and deliver the analytical infrastructure that supports strategic decision-making across the business. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who is analytically sophisticated, exceptionally organized, and capable of managing complex workstreams. Key Responsibilities M&A Execution • Deal Modeling & Valuation: Own transaction models supporting our offer LOI to sellers, including valuation analyses, pro forma financials, return scenarios, and sensitivity analysis., • Deal Evaluation: Lead financial and operational analysis on prospective targets, including review of historical financials, margin and quality of earnings analysis, and benchmarking against platform performance metrics., • Due Diligence Management: Own end-to-end coordination and execution of the due diligence process across financial, operational, legal, and HR dimensions by driving open items to resolution and synthesizing findings into clear leadership deliverables., • Risk Identification & Communication: Identify and communicate material financial, operational, and compliance risks surfaced during diligence with analysis that helps leadership assess deal impact and make informed decisions., • Integration Handoff: Prepare comprehensive deal summaries and transition materials that enable a clean handoff to integration and operations teams at close., • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare polished, decision-ready materials for leadership, the board, and investor reporting on active deal activity., • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing rolling forecasts by partnering with business unit leaders to develop bottoms-up financial projections aligned with strategic targets., • Management Reporting: Own production of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages including variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and executive commentary that translate financial results into actionable business insights., • Long-Range Planning: Contribute to multi-year financial modeling and scenario planning to support capital allocation decisions, growth investments, and strategic planning processes., • Systems & Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance FP&A tools and reporting infrastructure in platforms such as Vena and Sage Intacct, driving efficiency and consistency across planning and reporting workflows. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred, • 4+ years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity, corporate M&A, and/or FP&A, • Advanced financial modeling skills with deep Excel proficiency; demonstrated experience building transaction, valuation, and FP&A models, • Strong command of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and quality of earnings concepts, • Experience with Sage Intacct, Vena, or similar financial platforms, • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-party diligence processes and planning cycles against tight deadlines with minimal oversight, • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to synthesize complex analysis into clear, executive-ready outputs, • Highly organized with strong cross-functional coordination skills and a low tolerance for loose ends Who You Are You are a clear communicator who puts employees and partners first, a creative problem-solver who doesn't let things linger, and someone who moves fast without cutting corners. What Onboarding Looks Like In your first 30 days, you will learn the platform's financial structure, existing partner company profiles, and how the deal process and FP&A cadence work. By day 60, you will own active deal workstreams and be contributing to monthly reporting and forecasting cycles with minimal direction. By day 90, you are operating as the execution engine for M&A and a trusted FP&A partner by managing the full deal lifecycle while delivering the financial insights leadership relies on to run the business.
