Job Description Tender Care of Peoria is seeking a Lead Kennel Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our kennel team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients. Our Lead Kennel Assistant will work alongside the kennel team to care for boarding animals - including meal preparation, walks, medication administration, and monitoring their behavior and health. You’ll also maintain clear communication with the veterinary team, ensuring that all relevant observations and concerns are documented. Leading by example, you'll ensure that the kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces are sanitized and well-stocked throughout the day. This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday- Sunday, rotating weekend days.
