Easterseals Central Illinois Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. The final salary offered will consider several individualized factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, qualifications and credentials, talent availability and specialization, and organizational needs. This range is subject to change in the future. Salary is just one component of the total rewards package offered for this role. Education/Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field., • Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, and public relations, including experience supervising staff and managing budgets, vendors, and campaigns., • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals., • Experience managing digital and traditional media, creative production, and analytics to measure impact. Competency Requirements • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills., • Expertise in brand management, creative direction, and editorial oversight., • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication, with strong storytelling and public speaking abilities., • Proficiency in project management, prioritization, and delivering results on time and within budget., • Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Job Functions: • Develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications strategy with clear objectives aligned to the organization’s mission, growth, fundraising, and brand standards, including customer experience guidelines and inclusive messaging practices., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Programs, Executive Leadership, and external partners to support growth, fundraising, and brand awareness., • Collaborate with Human Resources to align internal communications and employee engagement with the organizational brand, supporting retention and recruitment., • Serve as brand guardian and editorial lead, ensuring all communications reflect Easterseals Central Illinois’ voice, values, and impact with clarity, consistency, and creativity, while overseeing the production and distribution of organizational publications., • Develop and refine messaging frameworks, creative concepts, and storytelling strategies that resonate with families, donors, and community partners. Lead story capture initiatives to highlight client journeys, milestones, and ambassador voices to inspire engagement and support., • Design and oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring all print and electronic communications are accurate, professional, consistent, inclusive, and impactful., • Oversee relationships with external creative agencies, media vendors, and production teams to ensure deliverables meet brand standards, budgets, timelines, and quality expectations., • Manage owned media assets, including the website, social media channels, and resource portals, ensuring consistent messaging and accessibility., • Oversee the digital marketing strategy, including paid search, social media advertising, SEO, email marketing, and website content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and audience needs., • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, using data insights to optimize campaigns, improve engagement, and effectively manage advertising budgets., • Establish and oversee marketing and communication policies, including a media crisis plan and scalable processes for asset management and reporting., • Manage marketing workflows, timelines, and cross-department collaboration using project management tools to ensure on-time delivery and organizational alignment., • Establish scalable systems for campaign reporting, asset management, print production, and brand consistency across all channels., • Develop marketing metrics and prepare regular reports for the Leadership Team to assess performance and guide strategy., • Work closely with Development on donor communications, fundraising campaigns, appeals, and stewardship strategies, ensuring alignment across all channels., • Lead planning and execution of campaigns for key service lines (e.g., ABA therapy, occupational therapy), mission-focused initiatives (e.g., 1000 Smiles, Unlimited Abilities), and major fundraising events (e.g., Tribute Dinner, Black & Blue Ball), including audience segmentation, creative development, multi-channel outreach, and post-event reporting., • Develop marketing toolkits, sponsorship packets, and outreach materials to support fundraising, partner relations, and community engagement., • Collaborate with Development on volunteer engagement and ambassador programs to amplify client and community voices, foster relationships, and extend organizational reach., • Attend special events, media events, committee meetings, and other functions to represent the marketing team and advance organizational objectives., • Provide direct supervision and guidance to the marketing team, fostering growth through mentorship, goal setting, and professional development., • Perform hands-on creative duties as needed and provide guidance and feedback on social media, design, photography, videography, website updates, advertising, public relations, and copywriting., • Support the Development and Marketing Committee of the Board of Directors by attending meetings and preparing strategic materials., • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, monitoring expenditures within approved limits., • Other duties as assigned.
