Job Description Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Business Line Manager (BLM) to lead and grow our Microspace business unit. This role is accountable for overall business performance, operational excellence, and market leadership—driving both short-term results and long-term growth. The BLM will guide a high-performing team, oversee 24/7 mission-critical service delivery, and champion innovation that strengthens our competitive advantage. The successful candidate will combine strategic leadership with technical fluency—capable of making informed decisions on satellite communications, managed services, and network operations while keeping business impact at the forefront. They will work closely with cross-functional partners to enhance our offerings, strengthen market positioning, and ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept to market adoption. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development • Lead, inspire, and develop engineering, network operations, and technical service teams., • Align departmental goals with overall business strategy, ensuring clear priorities and measurable results., • Oversee 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) and satellite teleport services to ensure uptime, resilience, and service quality., • Maintain compliance with FCC, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements., • Ensure timely completion of engineering projects, upgrades, and maintenance activities., • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as cloud-based broadcast workflows, IoT connectivity, and advanced IP-based video/data transmission standards., • Partner with the Chief Engineer and other technical teams to develop differentiated solutions for target markets., • Develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue growth and expand market share., • Manage capital investments for infrastructure upgrades, system deployments, and technology enhancements., • Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships., • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field., • Proven leadership experience in a technology-driven or service-oriented industry., • Familiarity with satellite communications, digital broadcasting, cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), and high-availability network operations., • Familiarity with audio and video encoding, as well as data and IP encapsulation, for both satellite and cloud-based distribution platforms., • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the ability to apply it in infrastructure development and the implementation of new services, • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex technical projects on time and within budget., • Strategic leadership and decision-making., • Market awareness and customer focus., • Team-building and talent development., • Operational and financial acumen., • Technical fluency in communications infrastructure.
