Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler- $18/hr Job Description This role focuses on assembling electrical and mechanical components by following detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists. You will prepare materials, use hand and power tools, and perform precise wiring tasks to build high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, consistent adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to cross-train on multiple tasks within the department. Essential Skills • Experience in assembly or production environments, with the ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and blueprint specifications., • Proficiency using hand and power tools, including drills, tensioners, crimpers, and other mechanical tools., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and parts lists accurately., • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, including fastening components with rivets, bolts, screws, clamps, and similar hardware., • Demonstrated skill in wiring, including identifying and separating wires by color, trimming, clipping, tinning, and connecting wires according to specifications., • Experience with wiring tasks such as splicing wires and crimping connections., • Capability to drill and tap holes accurately in specified locations for mounting control units or creating openings for wiring and instruments., • Comfort working in a manufacturing or production setting and meeting productivity and quality targets. Work Environment • This position is based in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment where you will work primarily on your feet handling tools, materials, and assemblies. Typical shifts run 8–10 hours per day, requiring consistent focus and stamina to meet production goals. You will regularly use hand and power tools, including drills, crimpers, tensioners, and electronic testing devices, as well as custom-built machines for wire spooling and heat application. Personal protective equipment is required and must be worn as directed to maintain a safe workplace. The setting is fast-paced, hands-on, and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on safety, organization, and adherence to established procedures.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
