Job Description We are seeking passionate and dedicated people to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that each guest receives an exceptional experience. Good pay for qualified applicants PLUS tips. This is not a temp job - looking for longer term employment. Job Summary You will serve high quality espresso based drinks made with our private label specialty coffee. We also offer a selection of freshly roasted coffee in single origins, blends, organics, and even 100% Estate coffee. In addition to coffee, we have a rich, smoky Cold Brew, real fruit smoothies, ice cold frappes, freshly baked pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and plenty of seating and free wi-fi. As a more experienced barista, in addition to the responsibilities below, your duties may also include, but not limited to: • Opening and Closing the store, • Tracking inventory and marking items for ordering, • Shift lead responsibilities Job responsibilities may include, but not limited to: • Preparation of all food and drink products according to standard recipes, • Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and payments., • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils., • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations., • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed., • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns., • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours., • Perform basic food preparation tasks as required. Requirements • Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred., • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately., • Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus., • Experience with POS is advantageous., • Strong ability to learn and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices., • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members., • Reliable, punctual, responsible and detail-oriented Join our team today and share your passion for coffee while providing outstanding service in a vibrant café environment!
